For this woodturning video, I used traditional woodturning tools and techniques to create a classic vase out of Russing Olive wood. Just to make it interesting, I decided to leave the whole video in real time…so no parts of the video have been sped up. You’ll get to see the entire act of creation as it unfolds, just with some of the more repetitive parts cut out.
If you are interested in learning how to turn a simple, elegant vase, this video will give you a good look at the basic techniques.
The piece was polished using Yorkshire Grit Woodturners Abrasive Paste.
