I’m painting waves and a beach with oil pastels, this is my first full piece with oil pastels so I’m experimenting with differente tecniques and finding out what I prefer. Using different blending tools, melting the pastels with heat and protecting the final piece.

Supplies used:
Van gogh Oil pastels
Hahnemühle acrylic paper.
Blending tools: paper stumps, brushes with odourless mineral spirits, rubber brush.
Heat gun.
