On my recent trip to Lahore from Islamabad, I chose to stay in #theNishatHotel for 3-day stay. Being an entrepreneur and a business mentor, my prime focus is always #CustomerService. In this episode of Happy Business, I am sharing my experience and insights about the first boutique hotel in Pakistan - The Nishat Hotel, Johar Town, Lahore. While all businesses can benefit from positive customer service, it's particularly important for #hospitality businesses. In an era of automation, technological advancement, and innovation, The Nishat Hotel turned out to be not just aesthetically pleasing but also a Hitech advanced hotel. The hospitality industry includes all businesses in which customer interactions are a core component of their operations, including but not limited to hotels, restaurants, bars, resorts, theme parks, and tourist destinations.
I was happily greeted by ultra-cozy & luxurious rooms with fully automated control panels – a perfect treat for a person who values design and technology even while traveling. The staff were very courteous and professionally trained. The hotel is owned by Nishat Group. Mian Mansha Pasha is the founder and CEO of the Lahore-based international conglomerate Nishat Group. He started his career as one of the most prominent industrialists of Pakistan. His Nishat Textiles Mills is Pakistan's largest fabric manufacturing mill. The mill was started in 1951 and The Nishat hotel started operating in 2017. It is Pakistan's first boutique hotel. Unlike a typical hotel, a boutique hotel is smaller in size and is independently owned in contrast to other hotels. Boutique hotels are more stylish in terms of decor and interiors and are often themed. In Nishat, you will find a gray, blue, and black theme with excellent decor designed by the interior designer, Asima Jasoob.
