Siva Balasubramani
Siva Balasubramani (7 April 1963 – 6 October 2023) , known as Orissa Balu, was a Tamil Nadu explorer. He traveled the world by sea in search of Tamil antiquity.
Siva Balasubramani was born in Uraiyur, Trichy . Later, he grew up in places like Villupuram, Puducherry, Neyveli, and Chennai in Tamil Nadu and majored in physics. He worked in Orissa for many years in the field of engineering related to mining and repairing foreign equipment , and traveled all over India.
He was involved in the study of the oceans of Kumarikandam and Lemuria . Subsequently, he conducted many studies in the ocean, comparing hypotheses such as Kumarikandam, the land of the sea with the ocean.

ஒரிசா பாலு என்று பலராலும் அறியப்படும் சிவஞானம் பாலசுப்ரமணி தமிழகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஆய்வாளர். தமிழின் தொன்மையை உலக அளவில் கடல் வழியில் தேடியவர்.
திருச்சி உறையூரில் 1963 ஆம் ஆண்டு பிறந்த இவர், தமிழர் வரலாற்றை, புவியியலை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு நவீன தொழில்நுட்பங்களுடன் ஆய்வு செய்தவர். சிவ பாலசுப்பிரமணி தமிழகத்தின் விழுப்புரம், புதுவை நெய்வேலி சென்னை போன்ற பல இடங்களில் பணியாற்றியவர்.
