In 2024... 31.4 million new cars sold in China of which 41% were EVs, 15.9 million new car sales in USA of which 9.1% were EVs.
In 2024 the 3 top selling cars in China were all EVs, top selling vehicles in the USA in 2024 were all full size pickup trucks. Yeehaw!
3.2 MILLION public EV chargers in China, 180,000 in USA.
$890 million USD subsidy in China to encourage buyers to switch from gas pwoered to an EV vehicle vs. a CENTURY of oil subsidies paid out by the USA, $20 BILLION last year alone.
First federal oil subsidy here in the USA was approved by Congress in 1916...
