Today we used capoeira movements to do a conditioning workout and get your heart rate up! Moves on the menu: Ginga (for active rest), au (cartwheels), quedas, esquiva baixa (escape), martelo (kick) and push up bananeira (handstand). We then finished the session with ponta (bridges) and cool down.
Workout:
1 min ginga
30 sec cartwheels
1 min ginga
30 sec esquiva baixa
1 min ginga
30 secs quedas
1 min ginga
30 secs push up handstand
1 min ginga
30 secs martelo
= ONE ROUND = 7.5 mins
1 min rest at the end of the first round and go again for a second round! It's only 15 mins of hard work, you can do it :)
