New England winters are full of magic. In this season 5 segment of Weekends with Yankee (episode 505), Richard is in North Woodstock, New Hampshire to explore the Ice Castles. This interactive art installation was started by Brent Christensen and has expanded to multiple locations across the country. In this segment, Richard tours the 30 ft tall towers and winds through frigid passage ways, lit by colorful LED lights. He talks to artist Aisling Petipas to learn more about creating these frozen sculptors.
