Getting a walnut bowl blank in Ireland is a very very rare thing, in thirty odd years of turning this is the first one that I have ever had and it was very kindly donated by William Kenny, a good mate and a very good Irish woodturner.

Irish woodturning is a craft that is dying out and should be preserved so that the tradition of Wood turning in Ireland stays alive and well.
