10 Most Underrated Academies!

Описание: On today’s 10, we’re looking through some of Europe’s most underrated academies. While Real Madrid, Barcelona, Ajax and Manchester United take a lot of credit for producing some of the world’s best players, there are a ton of smaller clubs who also make a big contribution.

From FC Groningen, who have produced Champions League royalty in Arjen Robben, Virgil Van Dijk and Luis Suarez, to Genk, who have seen graduates like Kevin De Bruyne leave to win the Premier League, and Thibaut Courtois go on to win La Liga. Dinamo Zagreb alumni also formed the base of Croatia’s historic run in the 2018 World Cup, while Charlton Athletic nurtured one of Europe’s top young centre-backs, Joe Gomez, before he joined Liverpool.
