3 Ingredient Pie Crust:

2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour $1.25
2 sticks of margarine or butter, well chilled, preferably in the freezer for 20 minutes $1.25
1/2 cup of ice water

Cut the margarine into the flour by hand or with a food processor. Using your fingertips, press the flour and margarine together until you have a mixture that is crumbly with no large chunks of margarine. Try not to use your whole hands, only your fingertips to keep everything cold. Add 1/2 cup of ice water and mix to combine, work dough into a ball and cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

Pot Pie Filling:

2 bags of chicken fries or spicy chicken nuggets $2.50
2 cans of chicken a la king $2.50
1 can of mixed vegetables $1.25
1 can of diced potatoes $1.25

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.

Cut chicken into bite sized pieces, drain canned vegetables and mix all filling ingredients together in a large bowl.

Cut pie dough in half and roll out your bottom half, lay your rolled dough into the bottom of a pie tin or oven safe skillet. Roll out the other half of your dough to make the top crust, add your filling and roll the pie crust on top. Fold under the edges and crimp if desired. cut 3 small slits in the top of your pie crust so steam can escape while baking.

Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, then brush crust with 1 to 2 tablespoons of melted margarine. Bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
