https://anahitaapoorva.in/
Anahita & Apoorva are internationally acclaimed Carnatic vocalists, renowned for their excellence in Indian classical music, Carnatic concerts, devotional music, and traditional repertoire. As A-Grade artistes of All India Radio (AIR) and featured performers in the National Programme of Music, they are among the leading voices of the new generation of Carnatic musicians.
Recipients of prestigious honors including Shanmukha Sangeetha Shiromani, MS Subbulakshmi Fellowship (Shanmukhananda Sabha, Mumbai), Yuva Purandara, Sangeeta Mudhra, and Isai Arasi, they have been recognized by both the Central and State Governments of India for their outstanding contribution to classical arts.
Trained under Smt. Shanthi Jayaraman and Chitravina Shri N. Ravikiran, they combine deep-rooted tradition with innovative presentation. They have collaborated with legendary maestros like Pt. Birju Maharaj, Dr. Vyjayantimala Bali, Prof. C V Chandrashekar, and Shri U Ve Dushyanth Sridhar, presenting Indian culture, bhakti music, and classical compositions to global audiences.
They are the youngest artistes to perform for the Artistes for the Armed Forces initiative and the only Indian classical musicians to collaborate with the Indian Air Force Symphony Orchestra (AWSO). Having toured across India, USA, Australia, New Zealand, and the UAE, they continue to promote Carnatic music worldwide.
As performers, music educators, TEDx speakers, and digital creators, Anahita & Apoorva are committed to making Carnatic music accessible, engaging, and inspiring for today’s generation.
