Watch how Mr. Abdulrahman Rashid Alshamsi (a successful entrepreneurial farmer) from Al Wagan, Abu Dhabi, UAE manages his integrated farm. He started fish farming trials four years ago and uses aquaculture effluents to irrigate vegetables and date palms. In addition, his integrated farm includes livestock and poultry. In collaboration with ICBA, he has made progress towards the cultivation of quinoa and salicornia and other salt-tolerant crops using brine water.
