.....Peeyada Prasutsaengchand, the documenter of life on the Nam Ou River 6 years ago, returns to travel with us. Even to this day, we read and listen to the news concerning dam construction on the Mekong River, from its source to its tributaries. And we come to an understanding that the lives of those living on the riverbanks may be changed forever. That initial understanding has come to shape the purpose of our new journey in which we get to meet Thong Suk, a 28-year-old bull elephant in musth. We also meet Wudh, a mahout from Pa Klai who inherited the status from his father. We then meet Kum Pun, who teaches us the meaning of laughing with tears, and a boy called Mos, a volunteer guide who conducts his life in dangerous situations.
