EAA AirVenture 2024 - EA-18G Growler Airshow Team

Описание: The EA-18G Growler Airshow Team takes the stage at ‪@EAA‬ AirVenture 2024 for a FANTASTIC showcase of the Growler, the electronic warfare variant of the F/A-18F Super Hornet. The team is comprised of members from VAQ-129 "Vikings" based at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island in Washington state.

After all these years of them being around, this was my first time seeing the Growler Airshow Team in action and I was impressed at the amount of afterburner these guys utilized.

The Experimental Aircraft Association's annual Convention, better known as AirVenture 2024, took place from July 22-28, 2024 at Wittman Regional Airport (KOSH) in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This video was shot on Thursday July 25, 2024.

A new camera was utilized here, and it's taken some getting used to, but the zoom and focus issues from my previous 2024 videos have all but disappeared. This camera even has one heck of an amazing "intelligent zoom" which, if kept steady, can bring some AMAZING results!

Each ICAS member air show is eligible for a single package of the three music licenses for one air show at the cost of $650 for a one (1) day air show; $950 for a two (2) day air show; $1,200 for a three (3) day air show; $1,450 for a four (4) day air show; $1,700 for a five (5) day air show, $1,950 for a six (6) day air show; and $2,200 for a seven (7) day air show. The rate applies only to music broadcast over the public address system during the air show portion of the program and does not provide the air show with the right to use pre-recorded music at concerts or other non-air show special events held in conjunction with the air show.
