Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report reporter, Amy Cassandra Martinez, were at Global Green's 15th Annual Pre-Oscar Gala along with celebrities, political leaders, eco-luminaries, and environmental companies at the LEED Certified NeueHouse Hollywood where they compost food waste and even have a bee hive on the roof!

For more than a decade, the Hollywood community has turned out to raise funds and awareness for Global Green’s critical green urbanism and climate resiliency work to build healthy green schools, homes and communities in Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York, Washington DC, and cities across the country.

This year’s event will raise money to help communities respond to climate catastrophes like wildfires and hurricanes and to build healthier and greener housing for homeless veterans in LA County.

About Global Green Pre-Oscar Gala
This event is a VIP Pre-Oscar fundraiser for Global Green to celebrate Hollywood’s environmental commitment and champion climate heroes. This year’s celebration will honor tremendous leaders who are committed to the planet’s climate resilience including Energy Independence Now Founder and CEO of the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, Terry Tamminen and the founder of Cinema for Peace, Jake Bizilj. The event will feature special performances by Lauren Ruth Ward and Ledisi.
