Milford Junction (South Milford. Yorks) on 22nd October 1993
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of the very active Milford Junction near to Selby and Ferrybridge in South Yorkshire. Lots of traffic was seen feeding the hungry power stations in the area such as Ferrybridge, Selby and others scattered around. Sadly most if not all have closed or converted to other means of fuel other than coal. These trains were mainly class 58 hauled or 56. The occasional class 37 and 47 were also captured on this visit. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually.
