How my blind friend Tracy and I navigate a blind convention with our guide dogs!

Описание: These fun blind adventures took place June 2016 in Orlando Florida at the National Federation of the Blind annual convention. As you will see/hear in these videos, we had so many experiences trying to find our way through this very large resort and conference center completely blind.

Even though this is an older video, I still felt it was a great video to demonstrate how blind individuals navigate these situations most people think you would need eyesight for. Honestly, this was the very first time for me to travel across the country all by myself with my first guiding angel, Antonia Hope. Not only was it our first time to travel independently, but my first time to stay in a hotel all by myself with her as well.

I absolutely love challenges, as you will see and hear through these video clips, we make our challenges so much fun! You can’t expect to grow and develop your skills, find confidence, enjoy life if you’re not willing to step out of your comfort zone, overcome your fears and go for it!

The best part about this whole experience was getting to problem shoot and make great memories with my amazing friends! Especially, my beautiful and extremely special friend Tracy.

Many of you have seen Tracy in my videos, she truly is one of my very best friends who has gone through so much in life with me. And you know, challenges are so much more fun to overcome when you are going through them with friends you love and find joy with 💛
