It is a distinctive feature of Chinese theatrical dance to maneuver extra long sleeves, which are called water-flow sleeves because they look like flowing water while waving. Water-flow sleeves can amazingly symbolize the direction of the plot and express the emotions of the characters. One will experience fascination by the subdued expressions as well as astonishment by the stormy movements!
It is performed by CPAA dancers at "An Ode to the Golden Tang - CPAA's 30th Anniversary"
