In this video, we’ll build the classic 555 Timer LED Flasher. The simplest oscillator in electronics.
🧰 Parts Used:
Breadboard
Wires & Jumpers
NE555P Timer
1 kΩ and 10 kΩ Resistors (R1, R2)
10 µF Electrolytic Capacitor (C1)
100 nF Ceramic Capacitor (Pin 5 Decoupler)
470 Ω LED Resistor
Optional: 10 kΩ Potentiometer for adjustable speed
🔧 Circuit formula:
f = 1.44 / ((R1 + 2R2) × C)
🔋 Power: 9 V DC
