In this video, the Manila Engineering Department conducted another major clearing operation along Roxas, Tondo on March 4, 2026 after authorities received complaints that the road was blocked again by illegal obstructions. This area had already been cleared before, but vendors and structures reportedly returned, placing tables, sidecars, and food carts directly on the roadway, blocking motorists and pedestrians.

The operation was headed by General Sukat under the leadership of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso, continuing the city’s push to restore discipline and keep public roads passable.

During the clearing operation, the team destroyed illegal tables and confiscated sidecars and food carts that were obstructing the road. Tensions also rose when a violator claimed that Meralco was responsible for the way a canopy had been connected to live electrical wires, creating a dangerous electrical hazard on the street. Because of the risky setup involving the wires, General Sukat became furious and immediately ordered the confiscation of the structure to prevent potential accidents and protect the public.

This video shows the actual clearing operation, the confiscations, and the confrontation over the unsafe electric wiring setup during the enforcement activity in Roxas, Tondo.
