Emergency response at Babbs Mill lake synonymous with tragedy

Witness Clive Rossiter was out on his daily litter pick around Babbs Mill Lake in Solihull at around 10am, Tuesday, March 17, when he noticed the outline of a car beneath the water. He reported the discovery to West Midlands Police and Solihull Council and at around noon a cordon was set up while West Midlands Fire Service sent a team to attach ropes to the car.
