-When you’re doing the scale, it is very helpful to highlight all of the horizontal line in one color and all of the vertical lines in another.
-given an “L” shape: one long line = the two short lines. You will have 3 horizontal lines, and 3 vertical lines. You should be able to add up the two shorter sides to equal the one long side. This is helpful when you’re trying to find the missing value.
-You only want to divide the shape 1 time.
