If you go through most of the cartoons in the 90s, you will find a common denominator. Animals often dominated the scene. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Duck Tales, Animaniacs, Courage: The Cowardly Dog, Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, and of course, SWAT Kats are among the several popular cartoons that fit into this category.
‘SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron was created by Christian and Yvon Tremblay and produced by Hanna-Barbera and Turner Program Services. It ran from 1993 to 1995, for two seasons, and turned out to be quite the success. But unfortunately, they were taken off the air. Now, after several years, a reboot is on the map.
The show revolves around a world where mankind has been replaced by katkind. Anthropomorphic felines or Kats function exactly like humans in the city known as Megakat City. And when any other evil entity poses a threat to this city, its patrollers, the SWAT Kats arrive to deal with the situation.
