About Col du Galibier via Col du Lautaret:
The route to Col du Galibier via Col du Lautaret is the road of legends and breathtaking views. The La Meije massif and its glaciers can be seen several times on this route. Often you will have breathtaking views of the Serre Chevalier valley. At the roadside, you'll find curious cows enjoying the view with you. As you turn right by the tunnel a slight rain will start dripping. A reminder that the weather can change quickly in these high alpine mountains. Only a few hours later this day the rain turned into snow and cyclists had to walk down the slippery road. The police had to close the pass. On this last stretch the road gets quite steep and as you climb higher flocks of crows will welcome you. As you cross the 'finish' line at 2642, you cross the finish line of one of the most iconic climbs in the Tour de France.

Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is awesome. But when it comes to music opinions are very mixed. This is why we do not add music to our rides. We simply do not want to spoil your ride with music you do not like. But it is quite simple to add it yourself. Open an extra browser tab. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like and enjoy the ride...
