How to Redo Hardwood Stairs - Total Renovation Cost

Описание: I show a detailed step by step renovation of our home staircase from dirty carpet to new hardwood. It was made from solid bamboo flooring. I completed this entire project with tools found at the local home store. The before and after of the staircase turned out absolutely incredible. I could not be happier!

To start this project it required a full removal of the carpet from the stairs. Then removing the old framing lumber that was replaced with subfloor plywood. Using a stair gauge I measured each tread and riser to cut them out with precision, without using a tape measure. Installing this system uses a lot of Loctite PL Premium glue to stop squeaking stairs and make a strong staircase.

With a bit of finishing work and trim I was able to complete the staircase with minimal painting required after installation. Let me know your thoughts on how you think this project could have been done different.
