Odisha Vs Delhi In Air Pollution! Balasore, Talcher & Baripada Among India’s Most Polluted Cities

Описание: Odisha is now competing with Delhi in terms of air pollution. As of 11 AM today, three cities in Odisha rank among the five most polluted cities in India with AQI levels above 300 — a category considered "Very Poor" and hazardous to health.
Balasore tops the list with an AQI of 336, becoming the most polluted city in the country. Talcher ranks second with an AQI of 324, while Baripada stands fifth with an AQI of 304. The other two highly polluted cities today are Haldia (AQI 319) and Ropar (AQI 311). Interestingly, Delhi’s AQI stands at 218 today, far lower than Odisha’s worst-hit cities.
Strict monitoring, industrial emissions, and weather conditions are contributing to worsening air quality in Odisha. Authorities and citizens are urged to remain cautious.
