Are Transatlantic Relations as bad and tense as they are often portrayed at present?".
Prof. Dr. Gerlinde Groitl directs the ISS Institute for Security and Strategy GmbH in Munich and teaches International Politics at the University of Regensburg’s Institute of Political Science.
Her scholarly work focuses on international security and strategy with a special focus on the US, Germany, the EU and NATO as well as the great power competition between Russia, China and the West in a changing global order.
Dr. Marco Overhaus is a Senior Research Associate at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) in Berlin. He is the deputy leader of the research group on the United States at SWP. His main focus is on transatlantic defense cooperation as well as US defense policy in Europe and in the Persian Gulf region.
