Exploring Local Food Trends in Siem Reap at Preah Dak Village

Let's visit to trending place for foods while in Siem Reap. The whole area is popular for local foods. If you are interesting to try Khmer local foods, suggest to visit there.

It name "Preah Dak village". It is 16km far from city centre of Siem Reap. It takes around 30mins to arrive there. We can explore the local foods and their living style. Their wooden houses are so lovely and attractive.

We arrived there after lunch time. We visited to their famous Palm Cake shop. They sell freshly make palm cake and palm products. Their packing box can give 100% local vibe. Nice idea and creative. As they freshly baked and no artificial add, the palm cake are not long lasting. We also tried the other kinds of dessert too. All are yummy and not so sweet.

After that we move to another shop which is trending among the local people. Their main menus are grilled meats. We tried their signature grilled pork and sausage.
The grilled pork was quite hard for me but the sausage is chewy and juicy. I love it.

On the way to Preah Dak, the view along the road are attractive relax. Most part of the roads are cover with big trees. Even the weather is hot it can give cozy feelings.
