The brand uses biodegradable, locally sourced packaging including calabashes, jute, bamboo, and raffia, while sourcing raw materials from women cooperatives across Ghana. This approach supports fair trade and reduces plastic waste.

Supported through the Ghana Climate Innovation Centre (GCIC) under GIZ’s Support to the Private and Financial Sector (PFS) Programme, Nokware gained access to capital, mentorship, and technical training. The support enabled the business to invest in new production machinery, significantly increasing output, reducing production time, and opening new market opportunities, including an eco-conscious hospitality product line.
