📢 Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore 2025-26 Ph.D. Admission Notification is out for the Doctoral Entrance Test (DET-DEC 2025) and for JRF/NET-qualified candidates! DAVV, a State University of M.P. and 'A+' Grade NAAC Accredited institution, invites online applications for its prestigious Ph.D. program. The university is located at Nalanda Parisar, R.N.T. Marg, Indore - 452001, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Important Dates: The process has commenced with the opening of the online application window on 14 Nov 2025 for both DET and exempted (JRF/NET valid score) candidates. The last date to submit the online application is 30 Nov 2025. The DET-DEC 2025 Entrance Examination is scheduled for 21 December 2025, Sunday, and corrections in the application form (if any) are allowed between 01-03 Dec 2025.

Eligibility & Application Process: Admission is strictly governed by the University's Revised Ordinance 11 and the UGC Ph.D. Regulations, Nov 2022. Prospective applicants are advised to check the specific eligibility in the official brochure before applying. Generally, candidates must possess a Master's degree (or M.Phil. Programme) in a relevant subject with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade. The application process is entirely online, and it is mandatory for all candidates—including those exempted from the entrance test (Category-2/Category-3: Valid JRF/UGC-NET/CSIR-NET score holders)—to fill the online form by the deadline. Application must be submitted through the MP-online portal: https://davv.mponline.gov.in.

Admission to the Ph.D. programme is offered in the following subjects: 13 Subjects via Doctoral Entrance Test (DET): Applied Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Energy & Environment, Information Technology, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmacy, and Statistics. 30 Subjects via Valid NET/JRF Score (Exempted Category): Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Dance, Economics, Education, Electronics, English Literature, Geography, Hindi Literature, History, Home Science, Law, Life Sciences, Marathi, Management, Mass Communication & Journalism, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Physics, Political Science, Sanskrit, Social Work, Sociology, Urdu, and Zoology. The list of supervisors with tentative vacant seats shall be available on the University website.

Fee Details & Helpdesk: The application fee is non-refundable and varies based on the admission category:

Rs. 1,500 for candidates applying for Non-NET subjects (DET route).

Rs. 1,000 for candidates applying for subjects included in UGC-NET/CSIR UGC NET (Category-2/Category-3).

An additional Rs. 50/- will be charged as the Online service fee for all applicants.
