Hyper Dyne Side Arms - Is it shit?

Описание: Welcome to the first multi-format video on this channel (to the best of my memory, at least)
Obviously, it's been made to the same ultra-high standards as all the other videos, where the camera has been sat on a vaguely level tripod, pointed at a CRT TV (PC engine version excepted here as that's hooked up to the big tft instead and I didn't want to disconnect it to film on crt as everything had already taken far too long by that point) and then on evenings when I've been well enough, Flo and I discuss the various versions as we play them, with no prior knowledge and certainly no script. (It only took a month to get all the footage done) While we keep our finger crossed that the footage is in focus, or at least near enough in focus. It's hard to tell on a 1" viewfinder. Yes, I should probably get a better camera but that's an expense I can't afford right now and hey, this has been fine for years so why change now?

Anyway, as the title shows, this is about Capcom's Side Arms, or Hyperdyne Side arms to give it its full title, whatever it means. I've only ever played the C64 version, which I thought was a bit shit, but entertaining enough, and Flo's never played ANY version, so I figured this was the best way of working out if any of the versions were okay or if they were all as bad as each other (i.e. shit)
Because of this (and my complete lack of video editing skills), this video is obvious significantly longer than usual. But there we go, can't really be helped. You can either just watch the sections you want by skipping ahead, or watch it IN BITS, or not watch it at all. It's entirely up to you, but there's almost 3 hours of rambling away about one game so if you need to kill some time with something completely inconsequential, here you go.


Hopefully, including these timestamps here will put chapters you can easily skip to if you wish, and if it doesn't, well, I'm sure you can manually skip to these times yourself.
