Описание: Today I explore the goldfields town of Castlemaine and have a look at 5 less known historic locations around the town.

The Anticlinal fold is in Lyttleton St Castlemaine, near the Urquhart St intersection.

This video includes a historic image from the New South Wales State library (paintings). Some of them depict first nations people in a way that might be considered simplistic and stereotypical. It has been included for the historical context - but the author would like to acknowledge that some of these ideas did not do justice to the complexity and difficulty of life for fist nations people living in the arid regions of central Australia in the 1860's.
