To revisit the organisation’s tireless effort toward dialogues and discussions throughout the year, and to mark the end of a successful academic year, the Indian Society for Universal Dialogue organised its valedictory ceremony for the year 2024-2025 in the presence of Senior Advocate Mr. E. Om Prakash, featuring a thought-provoking conversation with Hon’ble Mr. Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy, moderated by the General Secretary, Ms. Aruna Sree B, as part of our flagship India@100 series.

On April 05, 2025, the stage was set in the monumental Madras Literary Society, where students, advocates, and the general public gathered amid shelves filled with centuries-old books to see the world of law through the learned lens.

In this riveting and reflecting conversation with Aruna Sree B, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy delves into his shift from medicine to law, his early professional journey, and the convictions that shaped his path to the Bench. His Lordship shared his experiences with Senior Advocate Mr. Arvind Datar and his experiences at Dua Associates. Not just that, the conversation covered many contemporary legal aspects, including Artificial Intelligence and correlated Intellectual Property, Digitalisation of the judiciary, and so on, which proved to be a once-in-a-lifetime learning opportunity for all students present sparking motivation in the minds of the avid listeners, alongside instilling key values and virtues.

Following this, Senior Advocate Mr. E. Om Prakash provided a keynote address, lauding the vision of the organisation. He recognised every effort taken by the organisation over the past year and encouraged the involvement of the students, and after which, the Founding President, Mr. Aswin Suren, delivered a special address about the organisation’s purpose and objectives.

The Valedictory Address was delivered by the organisation’s Faculty Co-ordinator, Dr. Ranjith Oommen Abraham who appreciated the successful completion of 2 years of the organisation.

The Annual Report for the academic year 2024-25 was presented by the organisation’s Vice President, Ms. Dhivyaa R.

ISUD continues its mission of bringing conversations with luminaries to young minds, shaping future leaders through dialogue and reflection. Last year’s event featured a conversation with Hon’ble Mr. Justice N. Anand Venkatesh, making such interactions a hallmark of our annual valedictory ceremony.
