Police have until midday to question a man over the murder of three men killed in a hit-and-run during the riots in Birmingham.
21-year-old Haroon Jahan was killed alongside 30-year-old Shazad Ali and 31-year-old Abdul Musavir after being hit by a car in Winson Green.
They were trying to protect a petrol station and nearby shops at the time.
Heavy rain and extra police officers on the streets helped quell another night of rioting there.
