Driver Candidate Quiz — Day 6 (Türkiye Traffic System)
40 unique, very tough True/False questions designed for e-exam practice.
Each item includes a short technical reason, and explanations unlock only after you choose.
Roundabouts: Outer lane has priority; don’t cut across when exiting.
Flashing yellow: Slow down and proceed with caution — it doesn’t grant right of way.
Trams: If you share the same level, trams have priority; turning vehicles yield.
Rail crossings: Red light means STOP even if the barrier is up.
Tunnels: If traffic stops, keep a safe gap (~5 m). Reversing in a tunnel is prohibited.
Emergency lane: Never drive against traffic; for authorized use only.
Bus lanes: Taxis can’t stop there unless signs allow it.
Bike / e-scooter lanes: Do not enter them to overtake; yield to cyclists when turning across.
Pedestrian-priority zones: Drive at walking speed at most and keep full priority to pedestrians.
School zones: Speeding may carry heavier penalties due to vulnerable users.
Ferries: Secure the vehicle (parking brake + Park/gear).
Tolls (HGS/OGS): “No lane change” signs are enforceable and reduce crashes.
Snow chains: High speed on dry asphalt damages tires/drivetrain; follow manufacturer guidance on 4×4.
Loads: Even if not protruding, loads must be properly secured.
Axle weight: Overloading is a major safety risk (brakes/tires/chassis).
Oversized loads: May require permits, escort and route planning.
LPG: Parking rules can vary by facility; compliance can be checked in enforcement.
Child restraints: Based on height/weight categories; front seat rules and airbag risks matter.
Lighting: Keep low beams on; use fog lamps only in low visibility (clear weather causes glare).
Hazards: Not for normal driving in rain; use only for stopping or exceptional danger.
Emergency corridor: Create it in congestion even before sirens are heard.
Chevrons/hatched areas: Stopping or overtaking there is prohibited.
Reversible lanes: Green arrow = open lane; red X = closed lane.
After an emergency stop: Brief hazards can warn drivers behind.
Breakdowns: Anyone exiting should wear a reflective vest.
Cooling system: Plain water isn’t a proper replacement; coolant prevents corrosion/boiling.
Crash handling: Secure safety first, call 112 if needed, document with report/photos before leaving.
