AP told Coach O that he was going to Oklahoma because they showed the Oklahoma games at the prison that his father was in, and that if he could get his father to see the USC games that he would commit to USC. Coach O tried everything to get his father transported to a jail in Southern California but couldn't get it done. Adrian Peterson went on to become one of the best running backs in college football history.
