"This mod adds rideable Yoshies to the game in some levels.

When you ride a Yoshi, you can travel a little faster and flutter jump across gaps. You can also get inifinite flutter jumping with a wing cap.

Unfortunately, right now, Yoshies can't eat enemies, and neither can you ride one underwater.

Yoshies will also use the color palette of whoever rides them, and can share the rider's Metal Cap. Though they can't have the Vanish Cap yet.

This mod also comes with two commands:

/YOSHI_DEBUG [on|off|host-only]Toggles a debug mode where ya can spawn stuff from the mod with a D-Pad:
D-Pad Up: Yoshi Egg
D-Pad Right: Yoshi Nest
D-Pad Down: Yoshi
/yoshi-model [on|off] Toggle between the models in the mod, and the in-game vanilla model.

This mod also has a mini API that can place spawn nests around levels in ROM hacks (and only in ROM hacks for now)."

"This update includes:

New egg texture.
Riding a Yoshi is now a tad faster.
Yoshies with color palette and metal support. When ya ride a Yoshi, it'll automatically apply yer color palette to the model. If ya still wanna use the vanilla model, there's the command /yoshi-model as a toggle.


Unfortunately, there is no vanish cap model.

There's now a mini API fer placin' Yoshi eggs in ROM hack levels. Currently it only supports mods with the romhack compatibility tag."
