Rawalpindi traffic police have deployed drones and a citywide camera network to enforce traffic laws. The new system targets high-risk violations including underage driving, riding without helmets, ignoring seatbelts and using mobile phones while driving. Linked with the Safe City Command Center, the e-challan system issued 600 tickets in just four days.
Officials say the aim is to save lives and prevent accidents through quick, technology-driven enforcement.
