Students in Openlab’s master’s course Innovations for societal challenge present their project, conducted during the spring of 2025.
🧬 DIGISTEM+
In response to a challenge from Tobiasregistret, the team explored how to engage more young men with non-European backgrounds in becoming stem cell donors. Their solution, DIGISTEM+, is a dual-purpose digital platform. It offers donors a personalized portal with insights into their HLA profile and match potential, making the process more transparent and meaningful. At the same time, volunteers gain access to training, certification, and communication tools – enabling stronger outreach and trust-building within communities.
