ok so i'm making a clock....hope i have time.
I start by gluing two pieces of walnut together with so white ply between. Then i hollow from both sides to expose the ply as a light coloured face, shellac and cut'n polish are used as a finish. After this i make an ash ring for the bezel.... unfortunately the ring flies apart so i have to make another out of walnut. The bezel has oak studs to mark the hours and i cut out 12,3,6and9 from walnut strips.
