2019 was a boom year, the most productive year ever, work was the busiest it had ever been! Also I had discovered VR and was spending large amounts of my time 'in other worlds' exploring places , and also experimenting with new experiences, DJing online in a virtual space called 'TheWaveVR' and enjoying every minute of that experience. God I miss it, DJing, gigging live acts, clubbing with large groups of others in our avatars, whilst enjoying psychedelic 'Trips' without leaving the safety of your home or having to take anything at all!

Then came along Covid19... 2020... the strangest year(s) in my life. Probably the same for most people? However I was told I wasn't allowed out, as in AT ALL. I was 'Vulnerable', and terrified by that label and what was happening outside. I worked every single day through the entire thing, from my living room, and at night... I retreated to the safety of my own Virtual worlds.

This for the most part a record of my experiences in those early years of VR as well as some of the experiences I had post pandemic, adjusting back from 'Virtuality' back into reality. Dedicated to the team behind TheWaveVR, you were ahead of your time and I will never forget you and what you did for those that needed that outlet at that time.

This mix contains two Human League tracks that I discovered from seeing them, again shortly after finally being 'let out'. It was a fantastic evening, Philip Oakey still has a great voice and the catalogue of songs they perform was surprisingly strong - I particularly loved the fact I discovered 2 songs that night, one very old and one very new! Again these tracks just live here, strange but true, especially because of their significance in this part of my life.

These mixes are ultimately my life's works, I've spent many hours on each, they are a reflection of me, and representative of my relationship with the world - often at odds with the mainstream and on the road less travelled. I wouldn't have it any other way.
