“Der Panther” is a dark, minimalist trip-hop × jazz interpretation of Rainer Maria Rilke’s poem — a meditation on confinement, exhaustion and restrained inner force.
Set in a slow, nocturnal atmosphere, the music mirrors the panther’s circular movement:
heavy at first, almost numb, then briefly awakening — only to dissolve again into quiet restraint.
Sparse rhythms, muted harmonies and a calm, close-mic vocal allow the poem to breathe.
