This week in Siargao has been a mix of surfing, meeting new people, and keeping the business running. The weather finally turned, but I underestimated the sun just as much as I underestimated the rain – ended up with a solid sunburn after falling asleep on the beach. As I keep exploring the island, I realize that while I’m perfectly fine being alone, it’s much more fun to do things together. So one of my goals this week is to connect with more people and get a real sense of life here in Siargao.
On the business side, things remain intense. The investor talks for Pace are ongoing, but there have been setbacks. Negotiating six-figure deals is not something I do every day, and it comes with its challenges. The plan is to lock in the investment this week, with more meetings ahead. At the same time, there’s a new client project for the agency, plus work on the new version of the online shop, which I’m genuinely excited about.
Between all that, I’m sticking to my routine – gym, surf, and working through the never-ending to-do list. Siargao continues to be an incredible place, and I’ll be here for a few more weeks, so there’s more to come. If you’re around, hit me up.
