In this episode I take on the Owl, a very cool rock Pinnacle! It is located in Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area back near the Lost Creek Canyon Trailhead. It sits on the southwest flank of White Rock Mountain. A short 15 minute hike up the slope will get you there. In the process I explain the difference between 1st-5th class terrain in the mountains. I also demonstrate what it looks like scrambling on various types of terrain. Hiking, trail running, scrambling, and rock climbing all combined into one fun adventure!
