Utah Photography Trip Day 4: Hiking Out of Escalante and a Challenging Flight to Zion National Park

Описание: On Day 4 of my photography trip to Utah, we woke up early and made the difficult hike out of Escalante. We had to cut our trip a little shorter than we had initially wanted due to an incoming cold front and the potential for snow. This would've made the challenging road impassable. Once out of the canyon, I discovered another issue: WIND!!! My goodness was it windy that day! And as my luck would have it, the wind was gusting and almost 90 degrees to the runway. This short flight from Esclante to Kanab would challenge every bit of experience I have obtained over the years. The smooth touchdown was an extremely rewarding way to end the flight, and as always, seeing Zion was icing on the cake!
