After a top-order collapse, Mitchell Santner (47 off 26) and Cole McConchie’s 84-run stand saved New Zealand. Rachin Ravindra (32 & 4/27) was named Player of the Match for his incredible all-round performance.
In reply, Sri Lanka never recovered after a first-ball duck by Nissanka and struggled throughout the chase, finishing at 107/8.
