RCSS နှင့် TNLA တို့အကြားဖြစ်ပွားသောတိုက်ပွဲများတွင် SSPP အနေဖြင့်ကြားညှပ်ခဲ့သဖြင့် အခြေအနေများ မြန် မြန်ဆန်ဆန်ရှုပ်ထွေးလာခဲ့တော့သည်။ အထူးသဖြင့် နမ္မတူမြို့ဝန်းကျင်ရှိ TNLA တပ်စခန်းများတွင် SSPP က သူ့ အင်အားကို TNLA အတွက်သုံးစွဲပေးခဲ့ရသဖြင့် RCSS နှင့် SSPP – TNLA တို့အကြားတိုက်ပွဲများ မလွဲမသေဖြစ်ပေါ် ခဲ့ရလေတော့သည်။

As time passed, disagreements between TNLA, an ally of SSPP, and RCSS became increasingly intense. In Shan State, SSPP has long maintained alliances with several non-NCA signatory groups, including TNLA, KIO, MNDAA, UWSA, and AA. These groups later formed the Federal Political Negotiation and Consultative Committee (FPNCC) in 2017.

Historically, cooperation among ethnic armed organizations has existed for a long time. At one time, during the activities of the Shan State Army (SSA) in northern Shan State, Ta’ang leaders were also involved in those movements.

When clashes occurred between RCSS and TNLA, SSPP found itself caught in the middle, which quickly made the situation more complicated. In particular, around Namtu Township, SSPP used its forces to support TNLA at TNLA bases, which inevitably led to clashes between RCSS and the combined SSPP–TNLA forces.
