1. Doumar's Cones & Barbecue (Norfolk, VA)
This drive-in feels like stepping back in time. I grabbed some of their NC-style minced pork BBQ, but the real star is the cone. Watching them roll it by hand on the original 1904 machine was incredible.

2. Whimzeyland (Safety Harbor, FL)
You might know it as the "Bowling Ball House." Walking through here felt like walking through a dream. It’s a private home turned art installation covered in mosaics and recycled art. If you are near Clearwater or St. Pete, trust me, you have to stop by.

3. Cathedral of Junk (Austin, TX)
Keep Austin Weird? You bet. I went to a quiet suburban backyard that hides a multi-story tower made of 60+ tons of "junk." It’s structurally sound, incredibly photogenic, and one of the most unique things I've ever seen in Texas.
