Sue McBride is nominated "Children's Artist Of The Year" Music Nova Scotia Awards 2021. She is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter from Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a graduate and vocal student of the Dalhousie University Music Department, she has dedicated her life equally to music, music education, and the advancement of learning & curricular skills in young children.

Today Sue McBride is best known as an up-and-coming Nova Scotian recording artist & children’s entertainer who produces educational and entertaining content for children (ages 0-9) that adults love too! Sue’s children’s performances and recordings are comprised mainly of original compositions, but she has found a strong niche in re-arranging and re-introducing traditional Canadian/Nova Scotian children’s songs with a modern spin. Her re-imagining of Nova Scotia gems she grew up with and taught in the Nova Scotia public school system has been applauded by Nova Scotia music archivists and educators alike.

Alcides Urrutia is a venezuelan illustrator and graphic designer. He currently lives in Colombia and is dedicated full time to children's illustration. Among his comic and artistic influences are: Gustav Klimt, Vincent Van Goh, Marc Chagall, Taro Miura, Akira Toriyama, Hayao Miyazaki and Tex Avery. His hobbies include video games (especially Minecraft), animated movies and series, Batman, science fiction(Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings), LEGO sets, riding a bike on weekends, and animals (especially cats and dogs).

Aaron Klingbeil (Spacefood.ca) is a multi-instrumental music producer and music educator from Nelson, Canada. Aside from producing and recording music, he teaches music production, mixing and mastering via 1-on-1 mentoring on Zoom. Aaron has taught, mixed and produced music for projects spanning genres from Electronic Dance, Jazz and Folk, to Celtic, Ambient, Country and beyond. He feels HONORED to have collaborated with Sue McBride on her latest album, SHINE, which is Nominated for an award in the Music Nova Scotia Awards 2021.
