⚖️ BREAKING: The #supremecourt has clarified that #reservation category candidates (SC/ST/OBC) who have used relaxations (like age, fee concessions) cannot automatically be shifted/migrated into general (unreserved) seats if the recruitment rules explicitly bar such migration.
What this means:
Even if you score more than the last general category candidate, you may not get a general seat if the rules don’t allow migration.
The Court reaffirmed that relaxations are meant to help compete on level ground, but where there is a rule “embargo,” that runs against migration.
